Secluded on a small quiet lake, our roomy 4 season
cottage is fully equipped and has no immediate
neighbours to disturb your tranquillity. Mostly
surrounded by crown lands, our 28 acre property,
has more than a thousand feet of water front. It also
includes a screen-in porch.
At no additional charge, we offer such amenities as
a canoe, row boat, wooden pontoon boat, paddle
boat, campfire wood, and gas BBQ.
To preserve natural habitats, we have not created a
sandy beach. However, we have a floating dock for
swimming and we also have a sandy picnic area by
the shore.

Outside activities
What you will need;
The cottage is fully furnished and decorated, including toaster, coffee-maker,
microwave, dishes and VCR. Even though we supply pillows, you will have to
bring your own linen such as bed sheets and towels. Don't forget your food! And
your camera to help preserve the memories..

Furs & Maples Lake-front cottage close to Algonquin park, Ontario
Within 30 kilometers, there is golfing, horse-back riding,
arts and crafts shops, a general store, a gas bar, a bank
and a small restaurant. The village of Maynooth is only 5
minutes away; Bancroft, 20 minutes.

| Freshly built last Summer... We call it “Davey Crockett” due to its pioneer decor. Brand new cottage with 2 bedrooms, sleeping 5. Possibility of 4 more sleeping on two sofa beds (additional fee). This beauty is located on a rock cliff with panoramic view of the lake. The private secluded yard has 2 picnic sets and a fire pit. A short trail leads down to the lake and picnic area. Off the grid; All lights, stove, hot water and BarBQ are propane powered. It is also equipped with a wood burning stove and a solarium. Kitchen is equipped with 2 camping coolers, dishes, pots and pans; bathroom has toilet, tub and sink. Outside... a country shower. Wishing electricity? Bring a generator; there is an inside outlet that can be hooked-up from outside. Amenities: Free campfire wood and 2 patio sets. Use our canoe, paddle boat and row boat as often as you like! |

CANNON'S: a 4 season cottage... Located on a slightly bigger lake, this 3 bedroom cottage sleeps easily 6 people. It is fully equipped and has a fireplace. The yard is wide open; trees are providing privacy from the neighbours. Amenities... Picnic set and lawn chairs... A dock, floating dock, row boat and paddle boat are included to enjoy the lake. Also... Campfire wood at no extra cost! |
